]]> http://damightymescan.com/?feed=rss2&p=89 2 How to Display iPhone/iTouch on TV http://damightymescan.com/?p=52 http://damightymescan.com/?p=52#comments Fri, 26 Mar 2010 05:37:20 +0000 iZ http://damightymescan.com/?p=52 Have you ever wanted to play a game on your iPhone/iTouch, but on the big screen?  You may have seen those expensive cables pushed by Apple that lets you only view videos downloaded/purchased in iTunes.  But, this still doesn’t let you stream movies from sites onto your big screen (unless you’re jailbroken).  First things first, we will need the following items:


             iPhone Cords 


          iPhone/iTouch 

  
              Television

Step 1.

On your jailbroken iPhone/iTouch open up Cydia:
 ==>

Step 2.

Search for ScreenSplitr and install

Step 3.

Once install is complete you will now have a ScreenSplitr icon on your springboard

Now with all of the software installed all that is left to do is plug and play per se.

Step 4.

Plug video cable into tv and into iPhone/iTouch, make sure tv is set to proper input,  and click on ScreenSplitr icon

       Displaying on TV   

Please note, games and applications which offer landscape mode are still available with a simple turn of your device.

Step 6.

To quit displaying to your tv repeat Step 5 in the same order.  You can be sure that ScreenSplitr is not running when it doesn’t display the On badge on the icon.

> then under the “Cellular Data” the APN setting is epc.tmobile.com OR internet2.voicestream.com OR wap.voicestream.com Try each one until one of them works. No need to restart the phone.

> Turn OFF 3G because tmobile has a different frequency which will not work and will save you battery life. Turn ON roaming.

]]> http://damightymescan.com/?feed=rss2&p=35 0 iPhone 3GS Now Available Without AT&T Contract http://damightymescan.com/?p=26 http://damightymescan.com/?p=26#comments Wed, 24 Mar 2010 02:10:02 +0000 iZ http://damightymescan.com/?p=26 Today’s big news is that you, yes you can now walk into an AT&T store and purchase an iPhone as is, no questions asked.  The aforementioned phone is the 3GS iPhone in the popular 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB models.  The prices correspond to the the models starting at $499, $599, and $699.  Is Apple trying to take Google’s approach, with the Nexus One type offer?  The only difference is that they guys over at Google were nice enough to ship you your Nexus One unlocked and ready to go with your service.  Luckily, DEVS like  @Geohot and @MuscleNerd are always working for you iPhone fanatics and your unlocking/jailbreaking needs.

Note the ‘memo’  released saying Effective Immediately!  Word on the street is that you can only purchase one per day and also only purchase a total of ten iPhones ever.  What does this mean for Apple and why are they doing it?  Honestly, I don’t care, I’m glad they finally came around, but for your unlocking needs be sure to check out the links provided below.
